Born in 1951, New York City-based artist Hunt Slonem is renowned for his remarkable ability to infuse a sense of awe, wonder, and intricate detail into his vivid paintings and sculptures. Hunt Slonem is celebrated for his neo-expressionist works featuring butterflies, rabbits, and tropical birds, often drawing inspiration from the exotic avian companions he keeps in his Manhattan studio's aviary.
