Impulse Gallery is thrilled to present the highly anticipated solo exhibition of Claudia Limacher. Under the title "Mirage," Claudia Limacher not only explores the theme of invisible worlds but also the dichotomy of reality and perception. This exhibition showcases her latest works and takes the visitor on a journey through the chromatic universe of the synesthetic artist. Through the application of different materials such as ink, acrylic, oil paints, metallic pigments, among others, unpredictable, spontaneous, and yet harmonious interactions emerge that reflect the balance of chaos and order.
Limacher deconstructs memories and impressions into organic, freely flowing forms that symbolize the inevitability of change as the only constant force in life. Her creative process, marked by a cycle of destruction and reconstruction, acts as a temporal and spatial continuum that runs through her artworks. The central piece of "Mirage" is inspired by water landscapes and showcases her fascination with chance and fluidity. Water, one of her recurring motifs, is depicted in various forms to capture the dynamics of movement and change.
The canvases serve as a moment of reflection for Limacher, some works arise from deep emotions, others visualize dreams.
